There are a lot of reasons people buy graphics tees. Whether you are into sports or just like to sport a basic tee with a pair of your favorite jeans, graphic tees are great to have in your wardrobe collection.  

Novelty tees are a great way to exhibit self expression or send a humorous message to others.  You just have to know when and where it is appropriate. Sexually suggestive and vulgar tees are pretty tacky in public but very popular in the college crowd and nightlife scenes were small children are not present. Most Nightclub establishments are clamping down on them and enforcing dress codes. If you like to express yourself with this type of graphic tee, a jacket might be a good idea to avoid offending the people around you or embarrassing yourself in public.

Growing up in Pennsylvania, some of my favorite places to shop for a great variety of novelty tees was Spencer’s at the Lehigh Valley Mall, the Reading clothing outlets or browsing around the surf shops along Wildwood New Jersey’s boardwalk. If you visited Seaside Heights this summer, you may have had a graphic tee made and signed by DJ Paulie D from the Jersey Shore cast. The quality may not be all that great because they are iron-ons and usually fade and crack after a couple of washes, but nonetheless they are still popular. One thing is for sure though, these shops all carry a variety in humor and attitude. Tees with characters, licensed designs, pop culture and Rock & Roll artwork are all the rage.

The ability to design your own shirts enables people to sell them or create them for group functions like family reunions, group trips, corporate events or marketing. People act as walking billboards and can easily market products and services. A cool catchy design should always speak for itself. After all, it is a fact that graphics tees never go out of style because people continue to purchase them.

Next time you are out and about, observe the type of graphic tees you see. You will notice just how much they vary.
